IRONGRID
Our Story

Built in the field. Built for the field.

IRONGRID exists to give every contractor the operational infrastructure to run a professional, scalable business, without the complexity, per-seat pricing, or tools that fall apart on a job site.

Founded by Corey Sokol · St. Louis, MO · 2026

Corey Sokol is a software developer who has spent his career building digital systems, including managing web and digital strategy for a Fortune 500 company. Working closely with a family member who runs a contractor business, he saw firsthand how much of the day-to-day operation ran on manual processes: scheduling through phone calls, job tracking through spreadsheets, billing pieced together after the fact.

The business ran well. Corey just recognized that a connected digital system could make it run better, and that the tools available at the time weren't the right fit: either too simple to handle real operational complexity, or too complicated to be practical on a job site.

He built IRONGRID to fill that gap. A platform that brings genuine operational structure to contractor businesses of any size, without the learning curve or the pricing model that makes growth expensive.

Three problems. One platform.

Every contractor we've talked to runs into the same walls. IRONGRID was built to knock them down.

Crew coordination

Who's on which job, what stage are they at, and who even knows? Managing a crew through group texts and phone calls works until it doesn't. And then it really doesn't.

Billing & getting paid

Building professional invoices, tracking what's been paid, and chasing what hasn't shouldn't require a part-time accountant. But without the right tools, that's exactly what it takes.

Scaling up

The systems that work for a two-person crew collapse the moment you add more jobs, more people, and more clients. Growth stalls not because of the work, but because the backend can't keep up.

Who it's for

Built for the trades

IRONGRID is designed for contractors and field service businesses that manage crews, jobs, and clients across recurring and project-based work. From a solo operator getting organized to a multi-crew company managing dozens of active jobs simultaneously, the platform scales to the operation.

What we built

One platform for the whole job

IRONGRID brings work orders, crew scheduling, time tracking, materials management, cost calculations, and invoicing into a single connected platform. Every piece of a job, from the first task to the final payment, lives in one place, visible to everyone who needs to see it.

It's built to work on a phone at a job site, not just on a desktop in an office. And it's designed for contractors of every size, from a solo operator getting organized to an established multi-crew company that needs real operational oversight.

Work orders with full status tracking, assignments, and activity history
Time and materials tracking tied directly to job costs
Invoicing with electronic payment collection built in

How we think about the product

01

Built for the field, not the office

IRONGRID is designed to work where the job is: on a phone, between tasks, under time pressure. Every feature has to earn its place by being genuinely useful to the person using it.

02

Everything connected

Work orders, crew hours, materials, costs, invoices: they all talk to each other. No copy-pasting between apps, no reconciling two systems that disagree.

03

Honest pricing

We don't charge per seat. Your crew size shouldn't determine your software bill. You pay only for the capabilities you need, and every plan includes unlimited team members.

What makes IRONGRID different

01

Flat-rate pricing

Most field service software charges per technician, meaning your bill grows every time you hire. IRONGRID charges a flat monthly rate with unlimited team members on every plan.

02

One record, start to finish

Work orders, labor hours, materials, costs, and invoices all live on the same job record. The data your tech logs on-site is the data that builds the invoice. Nothing is re-entered.

03

Built for the phone

IRONGRID runs as a Progressive Web App that installs on any iOS or Android device in under a minute. It's fast, works offline, and doesn't require an app store download or a training day.

04

Built for the trades

This isn't a generic project management tool adapted for contractors. IRONGRID was designed from the ground up for field service operations: work orders, dispatch, job costing, and invoice collection as a unified system.
