Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 1, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. IRONGRID is built for contractors who trust us with their business data — client records, job details, financial information. We treat that data with the care it deserves.

01

Introduction

IRONGRID ("we," "our," or "us") operates the field management platform available at irongridapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our platform and services.

By creating an account or using IRONGRID, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

02

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, company name, phone number, and billing information.

Usage Data

We collect information about how you interact with the platform — pages visited, features used, session duration, and device and browser information including IP address.

Content You Create

This includes work orders, client records, team member information, time entries, material logs, invoices, notes, and file attachments you upload to the platform.

Payment Information

Billing and payment processing is handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number. We receive limited payment confirmation data to maintain your subscription records.

Communications

If you contact us for support or feedback, we retain those communications.

03

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve the IRONGRID platform
  • Process transactions and manage your subscription
  • Send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, account alerts)
  • Send product updates and announcements (you may opt out at any time)
  • Respond to support requests
  • Monitor platform performance and diagnose technical issues
  • Analyze website traffic and usage patterns to understand how visitors find and use our site
  • Measure the performance of marketing campaigns and paid advertising
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

04

How We Share Your Information

We may share your information with:

Service Providers

Third-party vendors who help us operate the platform and market our services, including cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, website analytics (such as Google Analytics), and advertising platforms (such as Google Ads and Meta Ads). These providers may receive limited data — such as pages visited or general device information — to help us understand site traffic and measure ad performance. They are subject to their own privacy policies and, where applicable, contractually required to handle your data appropriately.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of IRONGRID, our users, or the public.

Business Transfers

If IRONGRID is acquired, merged, or undergoes a significant asset sale, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers. When we work with advertising platforms, we share only the minimum information necessary to measure campaign performance — we do not share your account contents, client records, or financial data.

05

Data Retention

Your Account Data

We retain your account data — including work orders, client records, team member information, and related content — for as long as your account is active. When a subscription is cancelled, your account remains fully accessible until the end of the current billing period. After that, your data is retained for an additional 90 days before it is permanently deleted from our systems. During this 90-day window, account admins can export their data directly from the Admin Portal under Settings → Export Data. If you need assistance with your export, you may also contact us at support@irongridapp.com.

Payment and Billing Records

Payment transaction records, invoice history, and billing data are handled and retained by Stripe, our licensed payment processor. IRONGRID does not store or control these records. Stripe retains payment data in accordance with their own policies and applicable financial regulations, which typically require retention for a minimum of seven years. To access your payment history after account deletion, you may contact Stripe directly.

Deletion Requests

You may request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting us at support@irongridapp.com. Note that payment transaction records held by Stripe are subject to their retention policies and financial compliance requirements, and may not be erasable on request.

06

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Export a portable copy of your data — available directly to account admins via the Admin Portal
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@irongridapp.com. Note that data export is available as a self-service tool directly in the Admin Portal for account admins.

07

Cookies

IRONGRID uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for several purposes:

  • Essential cookies — required for the platform to function, including session management and authentication
  • Analytics cookies — help us understand how visitors use our website (e.g., Google Analytics). This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
  • Advertising cookies — used to measure the effectiveness of paid marketing campaigns and, where applicable, to show relevant ads to people who have previously visited our site (retargeting). These may be set by platforms such as Google Ads or Meta Ads.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will affect platform functionality. You may also opt out of analytics tracking via Google's opt-out tools, and opt out of interest-based advertising through the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info) or your device's ad settings.

08

Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. These measures include encryption of data in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security reviews.

No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. While we strive to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09

Children's Privacy

IRONGRID is intended for use by businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

10

Third-Party Links

The platform may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies before providing any personal information.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify you by email or through a notice in the platform. Your continued use of IRONGRID after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
