The Pricebook is a catalog of your standard services and their prices. If your business has recurring services with consistent pricing (an outlet replacement at $30, an AC tune-up at $150, a drain cleaning at $85) you can define them once in the Pricebook so your team always has a reference and so that future features like quote generation can pull from a consistent price list automatically.
The Pricebook is available on Pro and Business plans. All team members can view it. Only admins can add, edit, or remove services.
Who can do what
- Admins: can view the full catalog and add, edit, or delete any service
- Managers: can view the full catalog
- Employees: can view the full catalog
Adding a service
Only admins see the Add Service button. To add a new service to the Pricebook:
- 1Navigate to Pricebook in the left navigation
- 2Tap Add Service
- 3Enter a service name (required): this is the name that appears on the catalog
- 4Enter the standard price (required)
- 5Optionally assign a category to group similar services together (e.g. Electrical, Plumbing, Labor)
- 6Optionally add a description to clarify what the service includes
- 7Tap Add Service to save
Be consistent with category names. 'Electrical' and 'electrical' are treated as different categories and will appear as separate filter chips. Use the same casing every time.
Editing and deleting services
Admins can update any service at any time. Find the service in the table, tap Edit to change the name, price, category, or description, then save. Tap Delete to permanently remove a service from the catalog. Deletions are irreversible, so IRONGRID will ask you to confirm first.
Organizing services with categories
Categories are free-form text labels you assign when creating or editing a service. Once at least one service has a category, filter chips appear above the catalog table. Tap a chip to narrow the list to that category, or tap All to see everything. Categories are also searchable: typing 'electrical' in the search bar will surface all services in that category.
Searching the catalog
Use the search bar to filter by any text across a service's name, category, description, or price. For example, searching for '$30' will show all services priced at $30.00.
The Pricebook is available on Pro and Business plans. If you're on a Starter plan and want to use it, upgrade from Settings > Billing.
